Roasted apple cream tea
I love fruit but I can get bored of it so I’m experimenting with ways to make it a little more exciting. This example is by cooking it to change its flavour and texture to make for a different experience.
I’ve taken to roasting whole fruits like apples and pears and keeping them ready in the fridge to accompany meals. In this case it made for a wonderful cream tea giving a light juicy quality to the heavier cream and dry scones.
Overall it was just perfect
