Level 2: Happy Life

Every minute of your life is an opportunity to invest in yourself by picking the right activity. Which activity is right for you? what fits you depends on your nature and human nature is complicated, fascinating and something everyone should learn.

The better you understand your nature, the better you can pick the right activity to balance your health over time, so that you live your best life.

.Fit2Thrive is about lifelong learning to achieve your best life.

Life is made up of daily activities, including those we want to do and those we have to do. Our lifelong health depends on how we go about these activities.

The fun in life comes from constantly learning new ways to enjoy the journey.

Flying, van life and ending myopia are three activities that are part of my healthy life and help me explore my potential

  • Flying is a hobby that helps me conquer my fear of heights, learn to stay calm under pressure, and travel while also giving me pleasure because it’s a lot of fun.
  • Van life helps me travel so I migrate, have days out and I explore the world.
  • Watching the world go by and the vision training of End myopia is a form of self-development, learning to help my body do what I want it to do by adapting my habits. I am learning better vision habits and seeing the positive impact in vision and enjoyment of watching the world go by,

The activities section explores life, which, at the most basic level, encompasses the passage of time from birth to death and all the moments in between. The focus is on applying knowledge from the theory section to real life, so it is represented by calendars and diaries.

Learn how to spend your time better

Fit2Thrive

I put a lot of effort into simplifying these incredibly difficult and interconnected topics. I want to raise the bar in how we treat ourselves by getting everyone to learn about how they work.

Fit2Thrive also shares in one place so many of the teachings and insights I wish had been available to me at the start of my journey. These insights brought everything together and helped me see through the data and theories to the underlying truth. I aim to save you the time I spent doing all the research.

So, to understand the whole site, you only need to understand that every article is in some way linked to recovering your balance (Homeostasis) from what happened just now or a while ago. Everything starts to make sense once you know that.

The main idea is that all the subsequent topics come under the general principle of finding balance. They are all relevant in their own way and time, but the core focus has always been time: How do I live well each day and not carry over any recovery debt to the next day?

Life is a verb and is full of experiments. We know that life evolved through random experiments, leading to more complex life that was able to survive in more varied climates.

Human beings have a long history of successful experimentation. Practice, therefore, means keeping trying and experimenting until you get it right.

The theory section gives you information we didn’t used to have so modern humans have a serious leg up. I have been using this information for years to improve my life and achieve many of my lifelong dreams.

Understanding the impact of our lives on our bodies and their ecosystem, we can learn, through practice, to take better care of them. By doing the things we love and learning how to maintain our balance, we can then enjoy the very things that keep us healthy.

The most important aspect is time and the impact of each moment as it passes. All other topics are ways of thinking about and organising these moments as they pass so the skill we are trying to develop is making the best of each moment using the knowledge we are gaining from theory and practice to keep getting better from experience.

Through practice we learn to let the passing of time do the work for us.

Fit2Thrive

Understanding how human beings live in a practical way is such a complex undertaking that the section has to cover hundreds of areas of knowledge that are often considered separate activities, including eating, sleeping, working, and so much more.

So I have categorised my writings and research into several topics that go into more specific detail. Each topic considers a human being from a particular perspective and draws on a wide variety of disciplines to fully explore the topic.

I have also ordered the topics according to core and more advanced topics.

Optimising your life is more complicated than it first seems and requires an understanding of these core topics:

  • Habits: in understanding our own potential and pursuing our best life, it is essential to understand the complexity of a moment and how much is going on. Then create moments in each day where you restore your balance and grow in some way. View all
  • Happy: Enjoy what you do because we do not repeat things we do not enjoy and when you are happy you can overcome any challenge. View all
  • Embrace: Self-development. Life is a journey of growth. Experiment regularly, you will never know it all, but every moment can teach you something, so you can know more today than you did yesterday. View all

A more advanced understanding of health comes from much wider study of topics including:

Activities: Happy

Do things that make you happy. As you pass the time, learn to enjoy what you do because we do not repeat things we do not enjoy. When you are happy, you can overcome any challenge.
