Description

Why is obesity prevalent now compared to 100 years ago or 1,000 years ago? And why is it also prevalent in Western developed nations but not less developed ones?

After years of research it turns out that the answer to these questions is wonderfully short and simple. Where obesity is prevalent two things have changed and completely disrupted the normal balancing act that the pre-existing cultures and lifestyles depended on.

This is an introductory course to get you started on your journey to understanding;

  • how obesity affects your health,
  • why it is so prevalent
  • and simple ways you can protect yourself from the problems that obesity causes.

The approach at Fit2Thrive to helping people with obesity is to focus on learning how to enjoy the journey to understand and manage the condition. Obesity is such a big topic that there can be a lot to learn and many challenges to work through.

The best way to succeed is to work through these hurdles while having fun. The reason is that we stick with the things we enjoy and drop the things we do not enjoy.
