Charlie Brooker introduces video games to Jon Snow
I find this a fascinating interview because Jon Snow reflects the prejudices of those who haven’t played games. He didn’t listen, he interrogated, and so he didn’t have a sensible discussion and didn’t let charlie explain anything properly.
He has the view that watching TV is fine but playing games must be wrong.
What do you guys think? I’m a gamer but I’m not obsessed. I don’t play much at all any more because I don’t have the time but I grew up playing loads. But they are still just a bit of fun in my eyes and I prefer doing real things when I can.
What about you? do you like video games? Do you think they teach you anything and have uses or are they just a bit of fun?
