Holidays: Summer 2025
For years, I have been sharing how our family holidays became experiments in living a healthier, happier life.
From our 2014 Weymouth holiday that inspired my How to Invest in YOU course, to many smaller trips in between, each holiday has shown me something new about how health can be woven into everyday life.
Every holiday is an experiment in living healthier, happier, and more alive.
This year, we took it further
Instead of one holiday, we spread our adventures out across the full six-week summer break.
Small trips.
Day escapes.
Spontaneous moments.
Family outings.
Ordinary chances to get out and use life better.
What made it powerful was not having unlimited time or money.
It was learning how to use what we did have more intentionally.
That is what Summer 2025 is really about.
Health does not have to be separate from real life
One of the deepest Fit2Thrive truths is that health does not have to be separate from real life.
It does not have to wait for perfect routines.
It does not have to sit outside family life.
It does not have to begin only when there is more time, more money, or less pressure.
This summer helped show that even busy families can live healthier, happier, and more alive lives with limited resources when they start using life differently with what they already have.
Small moments can add up to something much bigger
This was one of the strongest lessons of Summer 2025.
One trip on its own may not look life-changing.
One outing may not seem dramatic.
But across six weeks, small moments added up:
movement
memories
adventure
family connection
time outdoors
better mood
better rhythm
more life being lived well
That is one of the reasons this page matters.
