In the modern world, feasts rule our lives. This course is designed to help you thrive in a feast-based world. In modern life, we are either building up to (preparing for), enjoying, or recovering from a feast. Whether it’s Christmas, Easter, birthdays or any other celebration, weddings, or births, we have more feasts than ever, and we need to learn how to enjoy these without losing our balance and our health.

The Fit2Thrive website contains a large amount of content that relates to feasts and how to survive them including the courses. This course provides practical examples of applying the theory from the Energy Matters and Metabolism and Diseases courses.

The modern world is very much a life long feast and hum,and are not designed for this. It is the first time in history that entire nations have had more food available that they need and they have not had to work for it. Just 200 years ago we all had to work very hard for just enough to survive. Only the rich could live like this.

It has been like this for the millions of years of human history so it should be no surprise that all cultures are struggling to live well in this wonderful new modern world.

This course will help you understand how to live well in an era of feasts and guide you along the path to adjusting your lifestyle to thrive in such abundance.

Humans have thrown feasts since antiquity. From modern traditions such as Christmas and Easter to birthdays and festivals, humans enjoy a good feast.

Traditional lifestyles are adapted to the natural feast and fast cycle where times of plenty are balanced by times of little. Humans have evolved to expect this cycle, which is why traditional lifestyles do not have typical Western diseases.

Below is a list of articles exploring all sorts of aspects of feasts and feasting. Covering the impacts you may know about but many you probably don’t.

The most important thing is that you start to learn about the impacts of feasts and ways in which you can adapt your lifestyle to live healthily with the abundance we enjoy in the modern world.

As your understanding progresses, you will develop your own answers that bring health while you enjoy each feast. You will then really understand how to enjoy life in the modern lifelong feast that we have come know.

Christmas and Easter are feasts. Learning how to enjoy feasts and grow stronger, not weaker, is an art and skill. The principles are the same, so each feast is an opportunity to learn a little more.
