Watching Stan against tommy robredo reminds me just how aggressive he has becoming. His footwork is fantastic, really setting him up, ensuring he covers any holes and turns every shot into an opportunity.
Every rally seems to be so attacking when he plays. Right now, as this past year, I’ve found him mesmerising to watch. I just like the way he is playing and I know I am not the only one.
He has such balance in his game. Huge power and spin off both sides so it’s harder to get him out of position. I don’t think he realises how devastating his game can be.
I just hope he has worked on his strategy and game for pressure situations as much as his aggression. I so want him to start really challenging the top guys.
